Abaca is a tropical plant belonging to the Musaceae family, resembling a date palm tree and living for 8 to 20 years. The adult plant ranges in length from 4 to 7 meters. The soft fibers obtained from this tree are used in the production of ropes and coarse fabrics. Additionally, the strength, flexibility, buoyancy, and resistance to saltwater make its fibers suitable for various decoration products, forming beautiful textured surfaces. Due to its ability to decompose with bacteria during recycling, its environmentally friendly structures are highly valuable.
